Message from the President Our society today, post 9/11, is hurting deeply, and increasingly looking to God for answers for daily living. It is our belief that God wants to work through His body, “the Church”, to bring help, hope, comfort, and guidance to lost and hurting people everywhere. The role of the skilled Christian/Pastoral counselor will become increasingly significant affording us many opportunities to lead lost & hurting people to the Lord. If you are called to the Ministry of Counseling, you have come to the right place. We know that God has chosen New Life C.C.T.C. as an instrument of His will to train and equip Christians who are called to the Ministry of Counseling. It is our mission to help you fulfill the call of Isaiah 61, “to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound,..to comfort all that mourn”, and to break the spirit of heaviness which rests on so many lost and hurting people in the world. In their healing, our hope is that they might become TREES OF RIGHTEOUSNESS THAT GOD MIGHT BE GLORIFIED. We are a Certified Academic Institute of the National Christian Counselor's Association (N.C.C.A.) the world's largest training and licensing association for Christian counselors. Our program offers specialized training, clinical supervision, counseling practicum (Internship), certification, licensing, professional memberships, advanced studies for specialty certification in areas such as Marriage & Family Therapy, Sexual Abuse Therapy, Child & Adolescent Therapy, etc. Additionally, by enrolling in our degree transfer programs you can earn your academic degree (B.A., M.A, and/or Ph.D) in Christian counseling. Today, the Internet allows the student with an active lifestyle to complete their training in the comfort of their home. Our Phase I program for Certification can be accomplished in 6 -10 months. The Phase II and III programs for professional Christian/Pastoral Counselor licensing + Degree programs average 24 - 36 months. The Apostle Paul wrote in I Corinthians 4:1-2, “Let a man so account of us, as of the minister’s of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover, it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” Our programs are guaranteed to be challenging. It requires a solid commitment to the call God has given you to prepare for the Ministry of Counseling. It requires commitment of your time and finances. In the end, your investment of time, finances, and obedience will far exceed the challenges of completing your program. I encourage you to take the first step.
